The game

Using AURA means accepting these rules. AURA is a social identity game. Aura points have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money and do not measure anyone’s actual worth. The bank terminology is part of the game.

Claims and verdicts

You choose a base claim from ±50 to ±500 in steps of 50 and write at most one sentence. Positive claims can earn streak and category rarity bonuses. A tagged friend can vote W to confirm the signed claim at 5×, or Ratio to strip a positive claim or double a base loss. Server calculations and the daily loss cap determine the actual score change.

Up to 8 events can be banked per UTC day. Positive streak bonuses reach 1.5×; a category unused for seven days earns 1.5× on positive events. Total losses are capped at 1,000 Aura per UTC day and balances cannot fall below −5,000.

Duels

Duels require an accepted friendship and explicit acceptance by the opponent. A duel lasts 48 hours from acceptance. Net gains from events and their votes inside the window decide the result. The winner receives 10% of the loser’s positive balance, limited by the loser’s starting balance and remaining daily loss allowance. Ties transfer nothing. One live duel is allowed per person.

Your responsibilities

Keep your account secure. Do not harass others, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content or exploit the point economy. Share only content you are entitled to share. You choose whether to send an Aura Card to an external platform and are responsible for that publication.

Availability and account closure

Online services may be unavailable temporarily. A failed connection can delay a vote, notification or settlement. AURA may change game rules or restrict abusive accounts. You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from your profile. Deleting voids any open duel so nobody takes the pot. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
